Exploring The New Normal of Hospitals in Its Management Side

The Management Study Program of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta held an Expert Lecture on Hospital Marketing Management in the New Normal Era. The meeting was attended virtually by 80 participants from the academic community and Management students on Saturday (Jan/08).

The pandemic is not over yet. Most public attention is focused on the health sector, especially hospitals. The dawn of a new variant of Covid-19, the Omicron, become an independent evaluation for all existing hospitals. Fitri Maulidah Rahmawati, SE, MSi. said, “As a business entity, the hospital must continue to improve and strive on how to make hospital visits increase from time to time.”

Hospital marketing was supposed to understand the needs of patients and be capable as marketing agents, all to improve hospital performance. Thus, several things needed to be understood to promote and make hospital services that customers are fascinated with. “Strengthening communication, supporting strategic management, and a strong marketing foundation, these three things are very notable, starting from the internal being the spokesperson for the hospital, one of the things in building a hospital so that it can rise and grow. Service improvement through research and strong partnerships with stakeholders,” closed Eka Budy Santoso, S.Sos., M.Pd., MA., Med., CPR.
