The Accounting Study Program of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta with the Accounting Student Association (ASSET) held a Webinar on Be Wise in Using Online Lending Services. It was held through the zoom platform on Saturday (Jan/8).
The webinar aimed to be a standard for participants in fintech. “Nowadays, there are so many online loans, but we have to be careful when borrowing them because now there are so many illegal loans, where illegal loans cause a lot of losses for borrowers. So read a lot, keep personal data confidential and consider more deeply in lending and borrowing,” said Fajar Satriya Segarawasesa, S.E, M.Ak., as the first speaker and also an Accounting Lecturer at Unisa Yogyakarta.
The second speaker, Ahmad Heri Firdaus, SE, M.Si., said that the official online loans must be registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Its procedure and the location of the office were obvious. There was also a selection in lending and using P2P Fintech Lending or P2P techniques. Techniques dealing directly with individuals or borrowers.
This webinar ran well. This event was attended by more than 50 participants, from Unisa students and the general public.
