Institute of Research and Community Service
The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of ‘Aisyiyah University Yogyakarta is a work unit that functions as an implementer of the Tridharma of Higher Education including Research, Community Service and Scientific Publications. This institution is led by the Head of the Institute and staff consisting of research staff, community service staff and scientific publication staff. The LPPM Research Division provides opportunities to win Internal Research Grants for all ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta University lecturers which are divided into 3 grant schemes each year, namely Grant, Umbrella and Institutional research. In addition to internal funding sources, there are external funding sources, namely funds from DITJEN DIKTI, Kopertis, AIPNI, and HAPEQ. As a supporting institution for implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education activities, LPPM has won External Grants from both DIKTI and KOPERTIS.
The Community Service Division of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta also opens Internal Competition Grants and Regular Community Service programs. In carrying out the task of community service, LPPM Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta collaborates with agencies / institutions, both government and private institutions on the basis of a mutually supportive and beneficial partnership. Community service is one of the tasks of higher education institutions to provide services to the community covering various fields of life by utilizing, developing, and applying science, technology, in an effort to contribute to the progress of society. The implementation of community service is adjusted to the resources owned both regarding human resources and funding. To carry out the task of community service, LPPM Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta provides financial assistance in the form of a Community Service Competition Grant Proposal for each year.
In the field of Scientific Publications, LPPM Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta organizes various activities including National Seminars, International Seminars and Research and Community Service Workshops. In addition, LPPM also manages Scientific Journals, namely Midwifery and Nursing Journals to accommodate Lecturers in conducting Scientific Publications.The work program of LPPM Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta is related to the Standard Operational Procedure and development direction policies, and the work program of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. The motto Professional-Qur’ani is expected to be the spirit in carrying out tasks as one of the institutions that directly relates to various components of society. In other words, LPPM Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta is obliged to build an image inside and outside (the wider community) through the results of research, studies, and service carried out to the community.

General objectives:
LPPM Unisa Yogya is to increase the quantity, quality and relevance of research and community service in a sustainable manner.

- To apply research and community service as an effort to improve the quality of research and community service.
- Implementing sustainable cooperation with other research institutions, government, and the private sector
- Establishing cooperation with domestic and foreign institutions in developing scientific publications
- Increasing the quantity and quality of research and community service activities in a sustainable manner.
- Increasing the ability of lecturers in research and community service activities at the national level.
- Increased application of research and community service results in learning.
- Increased sustainable cooperation with other research institutions, government, and private parties.

LPPM Unisa Yogya’s Goal
- Publication of scientific papers by lecturers in national journals at least 50 articles per year.
- International publications of lecturers at least 75 articles per year.
- The number of health-oriented research applied to community service activities is at least 20 per year. The number of UNISA Yogyakarta community development partnerships with the Muhammadiyah/’Aisyiyah Association is at least 10 per year.
- The number of community service activities to empower women is at least 80 per year.
