Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah SWT for all the abundance of His grace and guidance, do not forget the sholawat and greetings may remain poured out to our lord the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his family and friends. Ameen.

The President and the entire academic community of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta would like to welcome you to the official website of UNISA.

This website aims to establish better internal and external communication of UNISA in the era of globalization. This is important considering that UNISA currently has 4 Faculties and 20 Study Programs with students from all provinces in Indonesia and has produced alumni who work in various government and private health institutions. In addition, the professional staff involved in the educational process amounts to more than 200 practitioners in their fields and practice fields spread across the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Central Java and East Java. UNISA’s official website is expected to be able to improve the communication of cooperation that has been established with health institutions and related institutions both at home and abroad and provide information to outsiders about UNISA.

It was started with the establishment of the ‘Aisyiyah Midwife School and the ‘Aisyiyah Level C Health Guard School PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Yogyakarta based on the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Health No.65 dated July 10, 1963 as the forerunner of the birth of STIKES ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. In 1991, in accordance with the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Health No. HK.00.06.1438 dated July 6, 1991, it was converted into the ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta Nursing Academy. After being converted back to AKBID ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta in 1998, finally in 2003 through the Decree of the Minister of National Education Number 181/D/0/2003 it developed into the College of Health Sciences (STIKES) ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. Alhamdulillah, STIKES ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta has received the accreditation of Institution B. Furthermore, STIKES ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta was transformed into a university on March 10, 2016 through the Decree of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education number 109/KPT/I/2016 under the name Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta.

At present, UNISA is 33 years old and has long experience in organizing education in the field of health and is guided by the professional-qur’ani philosophy, hopefully it will soon become rahmatan li al-‘alamin for the people, the nation and the world of humanity towards the creation of a truly Islamic society that is pleased by Allah swt in life in this world in accordance with the vision of Muhammadiyah. UNISA currently has twenty-one study programs, namely S1 Nursing Science, Ners (Nursing) Profession, S1 Midwifery and Midwife Profession, S1 Physiotherapy, Physiotherapy Profession, S2 midwifery, D4 Medical Laboratory Technology, D3 Radiodiagnostic and Radiotherapy Techniques (TRR), D4 Anesthesiology, S1 Nutrition, S1 Public Administration, S1 Communication Science, S1 Psychology, S1 Biotechnology, S1 Architecture, S1 Accounting, and S1 Management, S1 Information Technology. S1 Medicine.

Lastly, we sincerely hope that this website can provide complete information about UNISA for students, lecturers, and all outside health institutions. Of course, any feedback for the improvement of this site will be welcomed.
