The National Certificate Numbering (PIN) was a national certificate numbering system (all universities in Indonesia) which put out by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. Meanwhile, the Certificate Verification System (SIVIL) was an electronic independent certificate verification system.
Universitas `Aisyiyah Yogyakarta was appointed by the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) Region V as the host for the socialization on using PIN and SIVIL apps, Thursday (Jun/17).
The PIN and SIVIL aimed to prevent and reduce the practice of certificate falsification, confirmed that certificate was published by universities that had operational permits and were published to students who followed the learning process based on SNDIKTI, obtained data on the certificate validity that was valid and accurate, precise and fast, and assured the suitability of certificate published by universities also registered in PDDIKTI.
The Rector of Unisa Yogyakarta Warsiti, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat who was present online, expressed her gratitude to LLDIKTI REGION V, who had trusted Unisa Yogyakarta for being the host of the event.
“Hopefully, with this socialization, we will be able to take out a policy that we will inform all stakeholders of Unisa Yogyakarta,” said Warsiti.
