UNISA Yogyakarta Participates in the Success of the Love Children Movement Program

Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta with TK ABA Nuraini PWA DIY Yogyakarta Educational Council to make the GACA program (the ‘Aisyiyah of Love Children Movement) to success. This activity took place at Nurani Kindergarten in Yogyakarta on Friday, December 17, 2021, by greeting kindergarten teachers in the Greeting Kindergarten Teacher program delivered by UNISA Yogyakarta lecturers Nurul Kurniati, S.ST., M.KEB., and Enny Fitrihadi, S.SIT., M. KEB.

Besides targeting teachers, this program also involved the parents of Nuraini Kindergarten Yogyakarta students virtually on Greeting Father and Mother program delivered by DR. Islamiyatur R, S.AG., M.Si., and Hari Akbar Sugiantoro, M.A., lecturers at UNISA Yogyakarta on Sunday (Dec/19).

Nurul Kurniati, S.ST., M.KEB., as the head of the community service, said that this activity purposed to improve the quality of the current generation of children with Islamic parenting education activities and health screening to prevent ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Particular attention to children as individuals in their developmental age was valuable because childhood was a process towards maturity. Some cases were often encountered, such as circumstances that can cause trauma to children, including anxiety, anger, and others. If this matter would maintain, it would impact the child’s psychology and disrupt their development.

One of the roles of ‘Aisyiyah as a women’s organization was to declare the GACA program. “I hope that this program can help prevent psychological disorders in child development, increase the understanding to educate children through Islamic parenting, and empower children’s ability to stimulate normal growth and development so that they can take preventive measures against ADHD in children. As well parents and teachers can be contributors in realizing the ‘Aisyiyah of Love Children Movement (GACA) as a Program in Organization of Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah,” said Nurul Kurniati, S.ST., M.KEB., at the end of the Greeting Kindergarten Teachers (Dec/17/2021).
