Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta<\/a> officially opened the Faculty of Medicine (FK) in the academic year 2024. This opening was marked by the submission of the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Education Number: 484\/E\/O\/2024 concerning the opening of the Medical Study Program and Professional Medical Education Program at UNISA Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decree on the opening of the medical faculty was handed over directly by Plt. Bhimo Widyo Andoko, S.H., M.H. to the Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta Dr. Warsiti, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat and witnessed by the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris, M.Sc and Chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Prof. Dr. H. Haedar Nashir, M.Si, Chairman of `Aisyiyah Central Leadership Dr. apt. Salmah Orbayinah, M. Kes, Apt and also the Head of LLDIKTI Region V Prof. Setyabudi Indartono, M.M., Ph.D at the Institutional Strengthening of Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Universities event held at the Convention Hall Walidah Dahlan Mosque UNISA Yogyakarta, Tuesday (23\/07).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a press conference held after the event, Warsiti said that the Faculty of Medicine of UNISA Yogyakarta has excellence in the field of prevention of reproductive problems, especially pregnancy. This is in line with ‘Aisyiyah’s mission to improve and empower women’s health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe open the registration for the medical study program immediately in this period, and we provide 50 quotas for the first batch,\u201d said Dr. Warsiti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prospective students can access more information and register through UNISA Yogyakarta’s official website at pmb.unisayogya.ac.id.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this Faculty of Medicine, UNISA Yogyakarta hopes to contribute more in the field of health, especially in empowering women’s health in accordance with the vision and mission of the ‘Aisyiyah organization.
