Aisyiyah University (Unisa) Yogyakarta held the Kick Off for New Student Admissions (PMB) for the 2026\/2027 Academic Year at the Convention Hall of the Walidah Dahlan Mosque, Unisa Yogyakarta, on Saturday (10\/11\/2025). 3,000 students are targeted to enroll at Unisa Yogyakarta for the 2026\/2027 academic year, with various scholarships available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unisa Yogyakarta Rector Warsiti said that the Kick Off PMB event was held early as a form of Unisa Yogyakarta’s readiness to welcome the new academic year with renewed enthusiasm. “We are targeting 3,000 new students for the 2026\/2027 academic year. Last year, Unisa Yogyakarta successfully reached 2,500 students. So we want to increase that by around 500 students,” said Warsiti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to preparing promotional strategies and partnerships with schools, Unisa Yogyakarta is also strengthening its social commitment through various scholarship schemes. \u201cWe want to provide learning opportunities for students with potential, especially those who are economically disadvantaged. They can study with a spirit of independence and achieve excellence at Unisa Yogyakarta,\u201d added Warsiti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s Kick Off PMB is also part of the Unisa Festival 2025 series as part of the 34th anniversary of Unisa Yogyakarta. The event was attended by representatives from partner high schools\/vocational schools, not only those under Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah, but also a number of public schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Warsiti, PMB activities are not only oriented towards accepting new students, but also provide momentum to strengthen cooperation in the fields of community service, improving teacher and student competencies, and expanding educational networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unisa Yogyakarta also continues to be committed to improving its quality. This is evident in the fact that Unisa Yogyakarta has received Excellent accreditation. The performance of Unisa Yogyakarta graduates has also been recognized in the world of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have seen for ourselves how skilled, outstanding, and professional Unisa Yogyakarta students and graduates are. This is proof that Unisa Yogyakarta has succeeded in producing competent graduates,\u201d said Edy Prajaka, Chair of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Guidance Counseling Teachers Council (MGBK DIY).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edy also commended Unisa Yogyakarta’s student enrollment achievements in the previous year. \u201cUnisa Yogyakarta is a private university in DIY that has not experienced a decline in student numbers,\u201d said Edy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
