University \u2018Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta has once again become a magnet and point of reference for higher education institutions in Indonesia. This time, UNISA Yogyakarta hosted a visit from the YARSI Health Institute in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, which conducted a comparative study on Tuesday (November 4, 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation from YARSI Mataram was received directly in the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKes) Meeting Room, Siti Walidah Building, UNISA Yogyakarta. Their arrival was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FIKes UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Dewi Rokhanawati, S.SiT., M.PH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benchmarking Visit<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her remarks, Dewi Rokhanawati presented a comprehensive profile of UNISA Yogyakarta, including the strengths of its faculties and academic programs. She emphasized that UNISA Yogyakarta is always open to collaboration and the exchange of best practices among higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet us use this opportunity today to share insights so that together we can advance higher education in Indonesia,\u201d said Dewi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Raden Ahmad Dedy Mardani, S.Kep., NERS., MNS., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation at the YARSI Health Institute in Mataram, expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from UNISA Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur purpose in coming to UNISA Yogyakarta is to gain insights into the governance and management practices that have been successfully implemented on this campus,\u201d said Dedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also expressed his admiration for the progress of UNISA Yogyakarta, which he noted has developed rapidly as a higher education institution grounded in Islamic values, professionalism, and global competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter hearing the presentation by the Dean earlier, we feel that YARSI Mataram still has a long way to go compared to UNISA Yogyakarta. However, we hope this visit can serve as a valuable learning experience to help us improve further,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dedy explained that the YARSI Mataram Health Institute is currently still in the development phase following its transformation from a college (STIKES).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe currently have only two faculties and nine study programs,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit is expected to serve as a strategic step to strengthen cooperation and accelerate the improvement of educational quality at both institutions. For YARSI Mataram, the experience of UNISA Yogyakarta serves as inspiration for implementing excellent and sustainable university governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
