Head Of LLDIKTI Region V Attends Unisa Yogyakarta Graduation : The Importance Of Being A Lifelong Learner
Yogyakarta, October 2nd 2023 – The graduation ceremony of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta was attended by the Head of Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDIKTI) Region V, on Saturday (30/9). His presence at the event provides remarks and important message for the graduates.
In his speech at Walidah Dahlan Convention Hall of UNISA Yogyakarta, the Head of LLDIKTI Region V, Prof. drh. Aris Junaidi, Ph.D., said that graduation is a very important moment in the academic journey, where graduates will be responsible of their degrees as morally and intellectually. He reminded the graduates that graduation in only the beginning of their journey, especially when entering the real world of work. In it, serious action and strong fighting spirit are needed, which will determine the future.
The Head of LLDIKTI Region V also emphasized the skills that graduates need to have to succeed in the real world. Among others, skills in problem solving, the ability to work in team, high ethics performance, the ability to analyze for proper decision making and effective communication skills to sell ideas.
In addition, Prof. Aris also emphasized the importance of being life loner learner. He invited the graduates to continue striving to develop themselves and always look opportunities to learn and grow.
Not only that, the Head of LLDIKTI Region V also encouraged a good relationship between graduates and the UNISA Yogyakarta. “Graduates must maintain goo relation with the University, support University activities, provide contrastive input and feedback for the development and progress of UNISA Yogyakarta”, he said. With these words of wisdom and encouragement from the Head of LLDIKTI Region V, the graduates of UNISA Yogyakarta are expected to continue their journey with great enthusiasm and determination. “This graduation is not the end, but the beginning of great struggle in achieving success in the future”, he concludes.
