20 UNISA Yogyakarta Communication Science Students Pass MSIB MBKM Batch 6

A brilliant achievement was made by 20 students of the Communication Science Study Program of the Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences and Humanities (FEISHUM) Aisyiyah University (UNISA) Yogyakarta class of 2021. They successfully passed the Certified Internship and Independent Study Program (MSIB) Merdeka Learning Campus Batch 6.

Kampus Merdeka Certified Internship is an accelerated and accelerated internship program with a well-designed learning experience. The Merdeka Campus Certified Independent Study is an in-class learning that is specially designed and created based on the real challenges faced by partners / industries.

The Head of UNISA’s Communication Science Study Program, Ade Putranto Prasetyo Wijiharto Tunggali, S.I.Kom., M.A, said that this is the third year for the Communication Science Study Program to participate in MSIB. From the 2018 batch, managed to pass 8 students, and the following year followed the same program by only passing 6 students.

“In 2020, the study program provides special treatment by not only socializing, but providing guidance to students to create portfolios and CVs from the results of their studies,” said Ade.

Ade added that motivation is also provided through the presence of MSIB MBKM alumni who have successfully passed, to share experiences with younger siblings who will take part in the program. Lecturers are also actively involved in guiding students to identify their abilities and expertise, ensuring they can carry out internships in accordance with their respective fields of expertise.

“Alhamdulillah, we managed to exceed the target from 10 to 20 students who passed the MSIB MBKM. Hopefully, this achievement can be maintained in the following years,” said Ade.

The students who passed MSIB are spread across 8 companies and agencies, both in Java and outside Java. This achievement not only reflects the success of individual students, but also shows the quality and competence of the UNISA Yogyakarta Communication Studies Program in producing graduates who are ready to compete in the world of work.
