36 UNISA Yogyakarta Organizations Officially Elected at The Grand Inauguration Ceremony

Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta officially inaugurated 36 Student Organizations (Ormawa) simultaneously in the Grand Inauguration event at Baroroh Baried Hall on Tuesday (22/4/2025). This event is an important moment in marking the beginning of a new management period for all UNISA student organizations.

The Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Warsiti, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat said in her speech, that this inauguration agenda should not only be interpreted as a ceremonial agenda, but an important moment of the journey to foster leadership.

“Because leadership is not just having a position, but also requires sacrifice. So I think it must be carried out with full responsibility and have a spirit to serve,” he said.

The elected student president, Lukmanul Hakim, hopes that this inauguration ceremony can give birth to new leadership that is able to move and inspire.

“Comrades, we need leaders who dare to take the burden, who think progressively and still uphold Islamic values. Let us guard this process together, because students must be given the space to grow,” he said.

The student president, Esa Jongko Budi Angkoso, expressed his gratitude to all elements that had helped make the event a success. He also advised all elected Ormawa administrators to continue to learn and process.

“We advise you to continue learning to enjoy the process without protesting. Be the best version of yourself every day. Then the body may be tired, but the heart must not give up. Because great people are created from challenges and tears,” he concluded.
