After 15 Years of Loyal Service, 9 UNISA Yogyakarta Employees Depart for Umrah

Heartwarming and joyful news comes from ‘Aisyiyah University (UNISA) Yogyakarta. As a token of the highest appreciation for its employees’ loyalty, UNISA Yogyakarta sent nine of its employees on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land on Tuesday (October 28, 2025).

This prestigious reward was not given without reason. These nine employees, comprising both faculty members and educational staff, have proven their loyalty and full dedication to advancing UNISA Yogyakarta over the past 15 years.

UNISA Employee Umrah

This employee welfare program is one of the flagship initiatives of the Human Resources Development Bureau (BPSDM) at UNISA Yogyakarta.

The Head of BPSDM UNISA Yogyakarta, Muhamad Salisul Khakim, S.IP., M.Sc, emphasized that this award has two noble and interrelated objectives: spirituality and loyalty. According to him, this is a long-term investment by the university in its human resources.

“The primary objective of this Umrah award is to strengthen the faith and piety toward Allah SWT among lecturers and educational staff at UNISA Yogyakarta,” said Salis when asked for confirmation.

He added that the program was also strategically designed to strengthen the emotional bond between employees and the institution.

“In addition to enhancing piety, this program certainly aims to boost and strengthen loyalty among employees who have dedicated their time and energy,” he explained.

This initiative by UNISA Yogyakarta has garnered appreciation as it is viewed as a form of recognition that holds not only material value but also profound spiritual significance. It is hoped that this program will serve as motivation for all employees to continue delivering their best performance.
