The Student Executive Board (BEM) of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta actively participated in the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of BEM Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Indonesian Universities (PTMAI) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The event, which took place on June 19-23, 2025, became an important event for the consolidation of the Muhammadiyah-‘Aisyiyah student movement throughout Indonesia.

The presence of BEM UNISA Yogyakarta delegates, especially BEM UNISA Yogyakarta President Lukmanul Hakim, is not just a participation, but a form of commitment to strengthening synergy and concern for the sustainability of student organizations within PTMAI. This participation is expected to give birth to innovative ideas for mutual progress.

Lukman emphasized the urgency of strengthening ukhuwah between BEM PTMA and building a collective movement based on Muhammadiyah values. “We come not only with the name of the campus, but also with the spirit of togetherness, change, and real contribution for a more impactful Indonesia,” said Lukman, emphasizing the vision of BEM UNISA Yogyakarta in the national forum.

The National Coordination Meeting of BEM PTMAI in Banjarmasin this time raised a strategic theme: “Affirming the Five Pillars of the Plenary Collective Movement of BEM PTMA Indonesia”. This theme guided hundreds of delegates from various Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah campuses throughout Indonesia to formulate concrete steps in strengthening the role of students as agents of change. The event is expected to produce recommendations and work programs that have a broad impact on the progress of the nation.
