Entering the holy month of Ramadan, Walidah Dahlan Mosque of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta witnesses worship activities that are thick with religious spirit. The first day of tarawih prayers before the month of Ramadan on Sunday (10/02) was colored by an inspiring study from Dr. Warsiti, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat, who also serves as Rector of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta.

The study, which was attended by 264 worshipers, in addition to strengthening togetherness in congregational tarawih prayers, also explored the wisdom and virtues behind fasting. Dr. Warsiti, in her presentation, highlighted the importance of fasting with full faith and devotion to the Creator.

“All humans have the opportunity to achieve virtue in this month of Ramadan by getting closer to Allah SWT through sincere and sincere acts of worship,” said Warsiti.

The event, held at UNISA Yogyakarta’s Walidah Dahlan Mosque, was not only a religious ritual, but also a place to reflect on the meaning and purpose of fasting. The study emphasized the importance of awareness of spiritual values and meaningfulness in worship.

Furthermore, activities during the month of Ramadan at the Walidah Dahlan Mosque have been well scheduled, including tadarus and dzuhur studies for all UNISA Yogyakarta employees. This shows their commitment in strengthening their faith in the month of Ramadan and increasing their understanding of the teachings of Islam.

Ramadan, as a month full of blessings, is a momentum for Muslims to increase worship and devotion to Allah SWT. Through studies like this, it is hoped that the congregation can gain deep spiritual benefits and inspire them to undergo fasting with full sincerity and love for Him.
