Successful in UI GreenMetric, UNISA Yogyakarta Welcomes UKDW to Share Green Campus Learnings and Innovations

Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta is again in the spotlight of other academics. This time, Duta Wacana Christian University (UKDW) Yogyakarta visited the ‘Aisyiyah campus on Thursday (23/5/2025) to conduct a comparative study. Located in the 7th floor meeting room of Siti Moendjijah Building, this meeting focused on discussing the UI GreenMetric ranking strategy.

Vice Rector I of UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Sulistyaningsih, S.KM., MH.Kes, in her speech emphasized that UNISA’s vision is in line with UI GreenMetric’s criteria, which is to become a health-oriented campus.

“We direct every work program to achieve the indicators in this ranking. We learn by ourselves and incorporate the SDG’s program into the lecture curriculum and research,” said Sulis.

She added that all elements of the campus, from publications to other activities, also support the achievement of this ranking. “Hopefully this visit will become a sharing event for the progress of the nation,” she hoped.

Similarly, Vice Rector of UKDW, Dr. Parmonangan Manurung, S.T., M.T., IAI, conveyed the purpose of his team coming to UNISA Yogyakarta.

“We want to learn a lot about the UI GreenMetric ranking strategy that has brought UNISA Yogyakarta to 42nd place,” said Parmonangan.

During the discussion, UNISA Yogyakarta’s GreenMetric ranking team was also present to share experiences and insights with the UKDW delegation.

This visit proves UNISA Yogyakarta’s commitment to environmental sustainability and health, and inspires other universities to continue improving campus quality. UNISA continues to innovate for better education.
