Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta, Warsiti in her speech stated that UNISA Yogyakarta, although founded by an Islamic women’s organization, does not limit education to female students. UNISA, as part of ‘Aisyiyah, also encourages its students to play an active role in advancing the ummah, by carrying the mission of Women’s Progress as an Islamic principle.

“This will be the main inspiration for UNISA Yogyakarta to develop various breakthroughs, including in advancing women,” said Dr. Warsiti.

Meanwhile, Chairperson of the Central Leadership of ‘Aisyiyah, Salmah Orbayinah, said that Prof. Nahla’s thoughts were in line with the vision and mission of ‘Aisyiyah since its establishment.
