To Prepare for a New Nutrition Program, UNISA Bandung Visits UNISA Yogyakarta

A warm, family-like atmosphere filled Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta. Its younger sister institution, Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Bandung, conducted an intensive comparative study visit in the conference room of the Siti Moendjijah Building on Thursday (October 30, 2025).

The UNISA Bandung delegation came specifically to observe and learn more about the ins and outs of the Nutrition Study Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKes) at UNISA Yogyakarta, which has already established a strong reputation.

Dr. Dewi Rokhanawati, S.SiT., M.PH, who welcomed the delegation, expressed her delight. She noted that this visit served as both a networking opportunity and a strategic discussion. One of the key topics discussed was the vital role of the Nutrition program in the success of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, which has garnered national attention.

“Hopefully, this visit will further strengthen the relationship between UNISA Yogyakarta and UNISA Bandung, and our synergy will grow even stronger,” Dewi said in her opening remarks.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at UNISA Bandung, Dr. Ami Kamila, S.ST., M.Kes, was candid about the reason for visiting UNISA Yogyakarta. She expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome and full support from UNISA Yogyakarta regarding the plan to open a new Nutrition program in Bandung.
