UNISA Yogyakarta Disaster Management Team Enhances National Resilience at 3rd PTMA Volunteer Jamboree
The Disaster Preparedness Team of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta sent a delegation to the 3rd National Jamboree of Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah College Volunteers (PTMA). The event, which was held in Karanganyar on June 26-29, 2025, was an important event to hone the capacity and strengthen the relationship between Muhammadiyah volunteers from all over Indonesia.
Carrying the theme “Strengthening Resilience Towards a Prosperous Indonesia” with the inspirational slogan “Grow – Resilient – Whole”, the Muhammadiyah Volunteer Jamboree 2025 has a noble goal. Namely, strengthening the relationship between Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah volunteers, as well as honing their skills in facing various disaster challenges. Of course, the culmination is to strengthen the resilience of the community at the forefront.
Head of the UNISA Yogyakarta Disaster Preparedness Team, Wantonoro, S.Kep.,Ns. M.Kep.,Sp.KMB.,PhD. expressed the high enthusiasm of the UNISA Yogyakarta volunteers. According to him, participation in the PTMA 2025 Volunteer Jamboree is a strategic step to strengthen friendship, improve coordination, and increase vital competencies for his team.
“This is a very good activity to increase the capacity and relations, coordination, and collaboration for UNISA Yogyakarta volunteers,” said Wantonoro.
With the team’s presence in this national scale event, UNISA Yogyakarta shows its commitment in producing volunteers who are not only alert, but also professional and adaptive to disaster challenges in Indonesia.
