Universitas Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta, one of the leading universities in Indonesia, held its Mid-Year Work Meeting (RKTT) on Tuesday and Wednesday (27-28). The event, which was held at SM Tower, was attended by the entire leadership of UNISA Yogyakarta, including the rector, vice rector, deans and heads of bureaus/institutions/agencies.

In her speech, the Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Warsiti, M.Kep., Sp.Mat explained that the RKTT is part of the monitoring and evaluation (Monev) activities of the previous semester’s work program. The main purpose of the RKTT is to evaluate the achievements of the programs that have been implemented and formulate follow-up plans for the coming semester.

“Excellence has greater consequences or responsibilities. The system must run, activities are not just routine or on paper. RKTT is a vehicle to discuss and dialogue what we will achieve so that a culture of quality will be built. This is an important strategy to improve the quality of UNISA Yogyakarta,” said Dr. Warsiti.

In the discussion sessions during the RKTT, UNISA Yogyakarta leaders discussed various aspects, including strategies for developing and improving the quality of teaching and learning, strengthening research and community service, strengthening Islam and Muhammadiyah, university ranking strategies and efforts to increase cooperation with various related parties.

“By involving all leaders and other important elements, we hope this RKTT can produce concrete steps that will bring UNISA Yogyakarta to a higher level of excellence,” added Dr. Warsiti.

The work meeting at UNISA Yogyakarta is also used as a momentum to strengthen synergy between units and improve internal communication to support the realization of the vision and mission of the university in achieving higher educational quality standards.
