UNISA Yogyakarta Nurtures Excellent Human Resources Through AIK Refreshing
Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta has once again demonstrated its commitment in producing superior human resources based on Islamic and Muhammadiyah values. This step was realized through the Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) Refreshing activity which must be attended by all lecturers and education staff (tendik) on Monday (24/03).
With the theme “Internalization of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan to Dynamize the Ethos of Superior Human Resources,” this event aims to strengthen Muhammadiyah ideology among UNISA academic community.
The Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Warsiti, S.Kp.,M.Kep.,Sp.Mat., in her speech emphasized the importance of having an entrepreneur mentality for all human resources in UNISA Yogyakarta.
“We must see UNISA as a company that requires hard work and innovation to achieve prosperity,” said Warsiti.
Warsiti added that this event is an important momentum to remind each other and strengthen our commitment in advancing UNISA. “We will together take care and bring UNISA to be even better,” she said.
In line with that, the Chairperson of UNISA Yogyakarta’s Daily Board of Trustees (BPH), Dr. Siti Noordjannah Djohantini, M.M., M.Si., reminded that the achievement of UNISA’s excellence was not achieved instantly.
“This excellence is the result of a long struggle and endeavor colored by sweat and tears,” she said.
Noordjannah invited all elements of UNISA, ranging from lecturers, staff, leaders, to BPH, to maintain and improve the excellence that has been achieved by UNISA Yogyakarta.
“We must implement this excellence in the best service to students, parents, society, and Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah,” she said.
The AIK Refreshing activity presented seven competent speakers from various backgrounds, including elements of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership (PP), PP ‘Aisyiyah, academics, and professionals. They provided in-depth material on the internalization of Islamic and Muhammadiyah values in the context of developing superior human resources.
