Unisa Yogyakarta Receives Visit from Muhammadiyah Riau University

Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (Unisa) Yogyakarta received a visit from Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau (UMRI) at Siti Moendjijah Building, Unisa Yogyakarta integrated campus, Wednesday (8/1/2025). This synergy is one of the efforts to improve the quality of education, especially Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Universities.

Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (Fikes) Unisa Yogyakarta, Dr. Dewi Rokhanawati, S.SiT., M.PH expressed gratitude for being able to stay in touch and discuss directly about improving education, especially at Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Universities. “We are very open to discuss together because we know that each region has its own characteristics, so we can learn and reflect. Welcome to Unisa Yogyakarta,” said Dewi.

Head of UMRI’s Midwifery and Midwifery Profession Program, Bdn. Sarah Fitria, S.Tr.Keb., M.Tr Keb revealed that her party was eager to learn in improving education specifically in the Unisa Yogyakarta Midwifery Study Program. “We are very grateful for the warm welcome by Unisa Yogyakarta, we must maximize this opportunity because we know that Unisa Yogyakarta has excelled both the university and the Midwifery Study Program,” she said.

During the working visit, Sarah said she wanted to learn about the development and process of superior accreditation, the curriculum system, and the implementation of excellence in the Midwifery Study Program Undergraduate Program and Professional Midwife Education Professional Program. “We need to continue to be guided in improving the Midwifery study program and meeting the standards that we need to improve,” she hoped.
