UNISA Yogyakarta Strengthens Collaboration at the 1st Annual Meeting on Global Academic Collaboration for Student Mobility in Uzbekistan

University Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta has once again reaffirmed its commitment to advancing international educational mobility and collaboration by actively participating in the 1st Annual Meeting on Global Academic Collaboration for Student Mobility. This prestigious event, organized by Kyungdong University in South Korea, took place on October 27–28, 2025, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

UNISA Yogyakarta’s presence at this forum represents a strategic step toward expanding its global reach while building sustainable partnerships with leading universities from various countries. This international forum, attended by dozens of higher education institutions worldwide, served as a platform for discussing challenges, opportunities, and best practices in implementing student exchange programs and international credit transfer.

UNISA Yogyakarta was represented by Dr. Moh Ali Imron, S.Sos., M.Fis., as Vice Rector IV for Cooperation and International Affairs. At the forum, he highlighted UNISA Yogyakarta’s success in implementing student mobility programs, including the dispatch of 19 students to Malaysia for the period October 2025 – March 2026.

“Through this participation, UNISA Yogyakarta continues to strive to expand its global network so that students have broader opportunities to gain cross-cultural learning experiences and enhance their global competencies,” said Dr. Moh Ali Imron.

The event, organized by Kyungdong University, highlighted the importance of collaboration among universities in helping students navigate the challenges of globalization through international academic experiences.

UNISA Yogyakarta’s active participation in the 1st Annual Meeting on Global Academic Collaboration for Student Mobility is expected to pave the way for the development of other international programs, such as student exchanges, joint research, and international guest lectures. This initiative also strengthens UNISA’s position as a leading, competitive, and internationally-oriented global university.
