Graduates

Not just a graduation ceremony, this graduation brings an important message that is different from previous years. Through the theme “Mental Health,” UNISA Yogyakarta wants to emphasize the importance of mental health awareness among students. Rampant phenomena, such as bullying, depression, and suicide, became the focus of attention in the campaign that was inserted in the middle of the graduation procession.

In a series of events, UNISA Yogyakarta invited the graduates to care and strengthen each other. One of the special moments in this campaign was when all graduates simultaneously wrote positive and motivational words on their cell phone screens, which were then displayed to support each other. This step symbolizes UNISA’s commitment to creating a safe campus environment that supports mental well-being.

Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Warsiti, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat., during the campaign, delivered an evocative message, “All of us here, not only celebrate our academic achievements, but also celebrate our strengths as individuals who care for one another. Mental health is not something that can be ignored. Through this campaign, we want to remind you that each of us has a role to play in creating a better, more supportive and caring environment. Let’s encourage each other, speak kindly, and always remember that each of us is valuable and strong.”

The graduation ceremony with the theme “Mental Health” received appreciation from the graduates and invited guests, while emphasizing UNISA Yogyakarta’s role as a campus that not only focuses on academic achievement, but also on the mental well-being of its students.
