Study Club is a learning activity where students are taught lecture material that is not understood to be discussed or taught again in detail. Study Club Physiotherapy Sport is a study group formed by the R & D division of HIMAFI UNISA Yogyakarta as a forum to increase knowledge and hone the skills of physiotherapy students at UNISA who have interests and talents in the field of sports physiotherapy.

Andika, the chief executive of the BIMSER activity, stated that the main purpose of this activity was to increase the knowledge and understanding of students, especially Physiotherapy students, about injuries that often occur in athletes with disabilities and the important role of physiotherapy in handling them.

“The target to be achieved from this activity is the formation of sports physiotherapists who have knowledge and understanding both in theory and practice, so as to improve skills that can be used in lectures and in the work field later,” said Andika.

He also hoped that this activity could be useful for the students who participated in it and increase their knowledge.

In the discussion, Shofwal Jamil emphasized that physiotherapy plays an important role in the prevention of sports injuries in athletes, especially Paralympians. “The task of physiotherapy is to maintain and preserve the productive age of athletes in achieving achievements,” he said.

Similarly, Faris Fadhli Dhomily also emphasized the importance of making exercise a necessity, not just an obligation.

This activity was attended by all Physiotherapy Study Club administrators and undergraduate students of UNISA Physiotherapy Study Program in semester 2, 4, and 6.
