Bureau of Public Relations and Protocol and Midwifery Study Program of UNISA Yogyakarta Hold SAE and Launching SADARI Application

The Bureau of Public Relations & Protocol in collaboration with the S1 and S2 Midwifery Study Program of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta revived the spirit of a healthy and educational lifestyle through the Sport and Art Every Week (SAE) activity held at the Central Parking Lot of UNISA Yogyakarta Integrated Campus, Saturday (10/5).

This activity is part of a routine program initiated by the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau of UNISA Yogyakarta in collaboration with various study programs within UNISA, as a form of synergy in presenting a healthy, creative and educational activity space for the academic community.

With the theme “Body Awareness and Reproductive Health: Investing in the Future”, SAE presents a variety of useful activities, such as gymnastics together, healthy breakfast, to the launch of the SADARI (Check Your Own Breast) Application as a form of awareness campaign for early detection of breast cancer.

The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Dewi Rokhanawati, MPH, in her speech expressed her appreciation for this holistic activity initiative.

“Activities like SAE are very strategic in forming awareness of the importance of maintaining physical and mental health. Moreover, when we involve technology such as the SADARI application, it shows that UNISA continues to be adaptive to the needs of the times,” said Dewi Rokhanawati in her speech.

One of the highlights of the event was the child development check-up, open to the children of UNISA Yogyakarta lecturers and education staff under the age of five. This service was welcomed enthusiastically by parents and became a form of UNISA’s real contribution in supporting family health.

The event, which was enthusiastically attended by participants wearing maroon shirts and pink headscarves, was also enlivened with art entertainment, interactive games, and door prizes that added to the atmosphere of intimacy.

SAE activities are clear evidence that UNISA not only encourages academic excellence, but is also committed to creating a healthy, innovative and fun campus environment.
