Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta achieved a brilliant achievement by successfully passing the funding of 7 Student Creativity Programs (PKM) in 2024. The competition organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (KEMENRISTEKDIKTI) of the Republic of Indonesia is a stage for students to showcase their creativity and innovation in various fields, Saturday (24/04).

The Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs of KEMENDIKBUDRISTEK, which organizes this program, aims to guide students to become individuals who understand the rules, obey the rules, and have creativity, innovation, and objectivity in enriching intellectual diversity.

Head of the Bureau of Student Affairs and Alumni (BKA) UNISA Yogyakarta, Yekti Satriyandari, S.ST., M.Kes, expressed her gratitude for the achievement. According to her, this achievement is the result of the hard work of the BKA team, especially in the Creativity and Entrepreneurship Reasoning Coordinator, as well as the Unisa PKM Center Team.

“Within a narrow deadline, our team managed to prepare PKM proposals and provide assistance to students, even though at the same time other Puspresnas competitions were also taking place. The spirit of the students and the PKM Center Team remains high, and we hope that this year the Unisa PKM team can make achievements at Pimnas,” said Yekti.

The achievements of UNISA Yogyakarta this year are the same as those obtained in the previous year, UNISA Yogyakarta also managed to pass 7 PKM teams, showing consistency in providing support and guidance to students to excel at the national level.

This success is not only a source of pride for UNISA Yogyakarta, but also strengthens its position as one of the universities committed to supporting and developing the potential of creativity and innovation of its students for greater contribution to the progress of the nation and state.

In the momentum of the holy month of Ramadan, Lazismu (Lembaga Amil Zakat Infaq dan Shodaqoh Muhammadiyah) UNISA Yogyakarta together with Infaq and Shodaqoh Aware Students (MADARIS) moved to provide assistance to students of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta.

The distribution of 200 food packages was held at the Convention Hall of Walidah Dahlan Mosque on Thursday (21/03). Prof. Dr. Mufdlilah, S.SiT., M.Sc. as Vice Rector III of UNISA Yogyakarta stated that the 200 students who attended were selected students who were lucky to get assistance from Lazismu UNISA Yogyakarta.

The Chairperson of Lazismu UNISA Yogyakarta, Hilmi Zadah Faidullah, S.St., M.Sc., stated that MADARIS Unisa has walked more than two steps ahead compared to MADARIS in other universities. The presence of MADARIS and Lazismu UNISA is not only limited to providing assistance, but also providing support to students who experience financial constraints during the lecture process.

According to Hilmi, the synergy between MADARIS and Lazismu UNISA allows them to provide more effective support to students in need, especially in the context of financial assistance. This step is expected to help students overcome the financial obstacles they may face in completing their education.

The distribution of these food packages is part of Lazismu UNISA Yogyakarta’s efforts to make a positive contribution to the campus community, especially in ensuring basic needs such as food are met, especially in the midst of this blessed month. Hopefully this assistance can provide real benefits for the recipient students and be an inspiration for students in the campus environment.

Dalam momentum bulan suci Ramadhan, Lazismu (Lembaga Amil Zakat Infaq dan Shodaqoh Muhammadiyah) UNISA Yogyakarta bersama Mahasiswa Sadar Infaq dan Shodaqoh (MADARIS) bergerak untuk memberikan bantuan kepada mahasiswa Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta.

Acara pembagian 200 paket sembako dilaksanakan di Convention Hall Masjid Walidah Dahlan pada Kamis (21/03). Prof. Dr. Mufdlilah, S.SiT., M.Sc. selaku Wakil Rektor III UNISA Yogyakarta menyatakan bahwa 200 mahasiswa yang hadir merupakan mahasiswa terpilih yang beruntung mendapatkan bantuan dari Lazismu UNISA Yogyakarta.

Ketua Lazismu UNISA Yogyakarta, Hilmi Zadah Faidullah, S.St., M.Sc., menyatakan bahwa MADARIS Unisa telah berjalan lebih dari dua langkah di depan dibandingkan MADARIS di perguruan tinggi lainnya. Kehadiran MADARIS dan Lazismu UNISA tidak hanya sebatas memberikan bantuan, tetapi juga memberikan dukungan kepada mahasiswa yang mengalami kendala keuangan selama proses perkuliahan.

Menurut Hilmi, sinergi antara MADARIS dan Lazismu UNISA memungkinkan mereka untuk memberikan dukungan yang lebih efektif kepada mahasiswa yang membutuhkan, terutama dalam konteks bantuan keuangan. Langkah ini diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa mengatasi hambatan finansial yang mungkin mereka hadapi dalam menyelesaikan pendidikan mereka.

Pembagian paket sembako ini merupakan bagian dari upaya Lazismu UNISA Yogyakarta untuk memberikan kontribusi positif kepada civitas kampus, terutama dalam memastikan kebutuhan dasar seperti makanan terpenuhi, terutama di tengah-tengah bulan yang penuh berkah ini. Semoga bantuan ini dapat memberikan manfaat yang nyata bagi para mahasiswa penerima serta menjadi inspirasi bagi mahasiswa di lingkungan kampus.

Peduli kesehatan mental 1

The Bureau of Student Affairs and Alumni (BKA) of Universitas `Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta, in close collaboration with the Bureau of Psychology Services (BLP), held a Student Peer Group Workshop themed Care for Mental Health. The event, which took place from 28 February to 1 March 2024, was attended by all third semester students from various study programs on the UNISA Yogyakarta campus.

This workshop is a forum for students to increase their understanding and skills in dealing with various problems, both in academic and non-academic contexts, and especially in mental health.

Ardiansyah Rahmat Hidayatullah, S.Ars., M.Arch, as Coordinator of Reasoning Creativity and Entrepreneurship of BKA UNISA Yogyakarta, stated that the main purpose of organizing this workshop is to train students in the initial handling of peers who experience various problems.

“With this workshop, we hope that students can actively seek solutions to problems faced by fellow students, as well as being able to foster therapeutic communication,” said Rahmat.

The workshop involved 9 presenters from psychologists who are experts in their fields. Each material was delivered through interactive sessions involving discussions, questions and answers, and practical examples to strengthen participants’ understanding. The material discussed includes various aspects of mental health and early treatment strategies that can be carried out by students in the campus environment.

The active participation of students in this workshop is an important point, where they are encouraged to play an active role in supporting the mental health of fellow students. Thus, it is hoped that the campus will not only be a place to pursue academic achievements, but also an environment that supports mental health for the entire community.

This Student Peer Group Workshop on Mental Health is expected to be a meaningful first step in creating wider awareness and understanding of the importance of maintaining and caring for mental health on campus.

Universitas Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta, one of the leading universities in Indonesia, held its Mid-Year Work Meeting (RKTT) on Tuesday and Wednesday (27-28). The event, which was held at SM Tower, was attended by the entire leadership of UNISA Yogyakarta, including the rector, vice rector, deans and heads of bureaus/institutions/agencies.

In her speech, the Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Warsiti, M.Kep., Sp.Mat explained that the RKTT is part of the monitoring and evaluation (Monev) activities of the previous semester’s work program. The main purpose of the RKTT is to evaluate the achievements of the programs that have been implemented and formulate follow-up plans for the coming semester.

“Excellence has greater consequences or responsibilities. The system must run, activities are not just routine or on paper. RKTT is a vehicle to discuss and dialogue what we will achieve so that a culture of quality will be built. This is an important strategy to improve the quality of UNISA Yogyakarta,” said Dr. Warsiti.

In the discussion sessions during the RKTT, UNISA Yogyakarta leaders discussed various aspects, including strategies for developing and improving the quality of teaching and learning, strengthening research and community service, strengthening Islam and Muhammadiyah, university ranking strategies and efforts to increase cooperation with various related parties.

“By involving all leaders and other important elements, we hope this RKTT can produce concrete steps that will bring UNISA Yogyakarta to a higher level of excellence,” added Dr. Warsiti.

The work meeting at UNISA Yogyakarta is also used as a momentum to strengthen synergy between units and improve internal communication to support the realization of the vision and mission of the university in achieving higher educational quality standards.

Kampus merdeka 2

TheBureau of Student Affairs and Alumni (BKA) of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta held a coaching clinic on the 7th floor of the Siti Moendjijah building. This activity aims to support the Merdeka Campus in the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) and the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK ORMAWA).

This event is part of the university’s efforts to develop students’ soft skills while implementing the Merdeka Campus policy by encouraging students to actively contribute to the development of rural communities.

BKA UNISA Yogyakarta‘s Reasoning, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Coordinator, Ardiansyah Rahmat Hidayatullah, S.Ars., M.Arch. explained that the main purpose of this activity is to increase students’ interests and talents, especially in terms of PPK ORMAWA, by integrating direct learning activities with the community as partners.

“It is hoped that through this coaching clinic, students can be strategically assisted in preparing proposals,” said Ardiansyah.

He also added that the previous year only one sub-proposal was submitted, but this year, hopes are high with 11 proposals submitted. “We hope that 100% of the proposals submitted can pass this PPK ORMAWA,” he added.

This activity was attended by 11 teams from PPK ORMAWA and 14 teams from P2MW, showing the high enthusiasm of UNISA Yogyakarta students in developing entrepreneurial skills and management of student organizations in Merdeka Campus.
