Shofal Jamil, S.Ft., M.Sc., a lecturer in the Physiotherapy Study Program at Universitas `Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta, achieved a proud achievement. He was officially appointed as the Head of Physiotherapy of the Indonesian Amputated Football Association (PSAI) or better known as Garuda INAF, Wednesday (21/08).
A tough task awaits Shofal. He will assist the Indonesian Amputee Football National Team since the player selection stage, undergo Training Camp (TC), until competing in the Asian Cup (1st Asian Amputee Football Championship 2024) which will take place in Kerala, India from November 23 to December 4, 2024.
Amputee football is a soccer sport where the players are people with disabilities. Amputee soccer players are players who have lost limbs, such as legs or hands.
Hilmi Zadah Faidullah, S.St., M.Sc., as Head of the Physiotherapy Department at UNISA Yogyakarta, expressed his gratitude and pride for Shofal’s achievement. “This is a clear proof of the quality of education and training that we provide in the UNISA Yogyakarta Physiotherapy Study Program,” he said.
As a Physiotherapy Sport Difabel Expert and Physiosport coach of UNISA Yogyakarta, Shofal is considered to have the competence needed by the Indonesian Amputee Football Team or Garuda INAF. His presence is expected to help athletes in the process of injury recovery and performance optimization.
Furthermore, Hilmi added, “We hope this collaboration can continue and make a positive contribution to the development of amputee football in Indonesia.”
Not only Shofal, three UNISA Yogyakarta Physiotherapy Professional Education students who are currently undergoing the Sport stase, namely Nurul Fikri Wulandari, Hinda Annida Khoirina, and Dwi Rinawati, are also involved in the accompanying team

Good news comes from the world of higher education in Yogyakarta. Undergraduate Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences and Humanities (FEISHum) Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta officially achieved UNGGUL accreditation from the Institute for Self-Accreditation of Business Management Economics and Accounting (LAMEMBA), Tuesday (20/08).
LAMEMBA Decree Number 1468/DE/A.5/AR.10/VIII/2024 stating the title of UNGGUL was received directly by the Head of Management Study Program, Teti Anggita Safitri, S.E., M.Sc. This proud achievement is a clear proof of the quality of higher education that has been successfully built by the UNISA Management study program.
Teti expressed her deep gratitude for this achievement. “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire academic community and those who have contributed to this accreditation process. This award is the result of hard work together,” said Teti.
Furthermore, Teti hopes that this achievement can be a motivation to continue improving the quality of education in UNISA’s Management Study Program. “Hopefully the results we have achieved can be maintained and improved through various innovations and developments in the field of education,” she added.

The prestigious event, which was attended by physiotherapy students from 11 Asian countries, took place on August 17-18, 2024.
The 12th APTSA Congress raised the theme “Development of Physiotherapy Treatment Approaches in Low Back Pain”. The selection of this theme is in line with the high prevalence of low back pain in the community. Through this congress, it is hoped that closer collaboration can be established between physiotherapy students from various countries to jointly find the best solution to overcome this health problem.

Various interesting activities were presented in the SEMERU 2024 event. Starting from sports competitions that test dexterity and stamina, to traditional games that can evoke nostalgia and intimacy. However, the main highlight was the Integrated Development Post (Posbindu) which provided free health check-up services for all employees.
Posbindu: A Real Step to Keep Employees Healthy
Vice Rector IV for Cooperation and International Affairs of UNISA Yogyakarta, M. Ali Imron, S.Sos., M.Fis, in his speech said that health is a valuable asset that needs to be maintained. “With a healthy body, we can work optimally and contribute better to the institution,” he said.
Posbindu, which is held regularly every four months, is a form of UNISA’s concern for the welfare of its workers. Through regular health checks, it is expected to detect various diseases early and prevent complications.
The Spirit of Togetherness Builds Kinship
In addition to Posbindu, various competitions are also held to strengthen the relationship between employees. These competitions not only sharpen individual skills, but also encourage the spirit of teamwork.

Student Executive Board of Student Family (BEM KM) Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta held Unisa Green Day’s (UGD) to realize the action of love for the environment attended by the Regent of Sleman who was represented by the Head of the Development Administration Section of the Regional Secretariat of Sleman Regency, Head of the Sleman Regency Environmental Service, Deputy Chairperson of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Environmental Assembly, Regional Leadership Council of the Muhammadiyah Student Association Special Region of Yogyakarta, Vice Rector III UNISA Yogyakarta and staff, and 200 participants from various provinces throughout Indonesia. This activity was held as a hybrid at Bararah Baried Hall, ‘Aisyiyah University Yogyakarta and Zoom Meeting on Sunday (11/08).
“Unisa Green Day’s is a form of our love and concern for the environment. Not only that, the ER that we organized is also a form of Green Campus Unisa.” Said Febi Meito Lauhanda as Chairman of the Unisa Green Day’s organizing committee .
Some of the agendas in Unisa Green Day’s include organizing National Competitions, National Seminars, and Social MovementCollaboration with the Regional Leadership Council of the Muhammadiyah Student Association of Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY), collecting paper waste, and planting seeds as a form of environmental conservation in collaboration with the Sleman Regency Environmental Service.
