The 2024 Ta`aruf Period (MATAF) of Universitas `Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta is not only an introductory event for new students, but also a momentum for the growth of social awareness. Thanks to the collaboration of the MATAF committee and LAZISMU UNISA, a donation of Rp35,349,338 was successfully collected through the Infaq QRIS Most program.

The funds collected were then distributed in the form of scholarships to 30 new students and 22 students assisted by UNISA Yogyakarta. The scholarships were handed over on Saturday (12/10) at Walidah Dahlan Mosque.

Prof. Dr. Mufdlilah, S.SiT., M.Sc, Vice Rector III for Student Affairs and Alumni of UNISA Yogyakarta, appreciated this activity.

“This is a clear example of how students can contribute to others. I hope this spirit of sharing will be maintained,” she said.

Lukmannul Hakim, MATAF event coordinator, expressed his pride at the success of this fundraising.

“We hope this activity can inspire other students to participate in social activities,” he added.

Meanwhile, Andis from LAZISMU UNISA explained that in addition to the MATAF scholarship, there is also a SERDADU scholarship program that comes from donations of one thousand rupiah per week from students and the academic community of UNISA Yogyakarta.
