Adulthood is a state where individuals begin to take on roles in society and assume their own responsibilities both emotionally and financially. In early adulthood an individual begins to build personal independence. Phenomena known to society today include the transition crisis from childhood toadolescence(adolescence crisis) and the transition crisis from adulthood to old age (midlife crisis). The phenomenon of emotional crisis that occurs in a person due to unpreparedness in the transition process from adolescence to adulthood is known as quarter life crisis.

Quarter Life Crisis is a phase where emotional crisis occurs in individuals in their 20s. Emotional crises that occur in individuals in the Quarter Life Crisis phase include feelings of helplessness, doubt or self-doubt, isolation and often fear, anxiety about future failures. Quarter life crisis arises due to various factors. One of them is an adolescent’s uncertainty about the future, especially adolescents who do not have parents. Muhammadiyah Sayegan Orphanage (Musasi) is a home for children who do not have parents and is dominated by adolescents.

Adolescents tend to be dependent and open to peers compared to parents. The purpose of this community service is to apply the role of peers to become counselors or confiding friends for adolescents at the Muhammadiyah Sayegan Orphanage so that Quarter life Crisis can be minimized…

UNISA Yogyakarta Anesthesia Nursing Study Program under the coordination of lecturer Nia Handayani, S.Tr.Kep, M.K.M., held a Community Service activity funded by the ResearchMu grant as an effort to apply the role of peers to become counselors or confidants for adolescents at the Muhammadiyah Sayegan Orphanage so that Quarter life Crisis can be minimized.

The speakers in the activity were Raden Sugeng Riyadi, S.ST., M.Psi with the theme of mental health in adolescents and Vita Purnamasari, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., with the theme of the Role of Peer Tutors in dealing with Quarter Life Cricis. Attending this event 18 teenagers were involved in this service.

This activity took place on May 26, 2024 for health tests, pre tests and materials. Evaluation was carried out on June 1, 2024 and a post test was also conducted. The head of PSAA Muhammadiyah Seyegan, Sutarto, expressed his appreciation for the community service activities by lecturers and anesthesiology nursing students of UNISA Yogyakarta.

Adolescents at Seyegan Children’s Social Orphanage have a better understanding of the role of peer tutors in dealing with their daily activities at the orphanage. “We hope that friends can apply the knowledge that has been conveyed by the ladies and gentlemen and become more open if they confide in their friends,” he added.

The Student Executive Board of the Student Family (BEM KM) of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta through the Unisa Teaching community again organized the second week of Unisa Teaching 2024, in Rajek Wetan Hamlet, Tirtoadi, Mlati, Sleman, D.I Yogyakarta, Sunday (09/06/2024).

Syarifah Najmah as the Chief Executive of Unisa Teaching 2024 said, on the occasion of this second week, around 40 children in Rajek Wetan Hamlet, Tirtoadi, Mlati, Sleman, again participated in activities with enthusiasm, which had the theme of professions, ideals and the Qur’an.

“In this second week, the theme is professions, ideals and the Qur’an, such as learning to recognize various professions that will spark ideals that are in line with the teachings of the Qur’an,” said Syarifah.

She also said that the second week of activities was filled with opening, introduction to professions and ideals, then interspersed with fun ice breaking , then continued with learning short letters of the Qur’an and ended with the distribution of door prizes. This certainly aims as an exciting learning medium for children based on Al-Islamic values.

Esa Jongko Budi Angkoso and Muhammad Nur Cahyanta as Student President and Vice President of UNISA Yogyakarta 2023/2024 said that this is a real effort of the student movement in spreading benefits in a sustainable manner.

The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKes) of Universitas `Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta successfully held a Studium Generale at the Convention Hall of Walidah Dahlan Mosque. The event was held on Wednesday (12/06) with the theme “Challenges and Implementation of Community Nutrition Program Evaluation”.

This studium generale presented Dr. dr. Brian Prahastuti, MPH, who serves as the Principal Expert of Deputy II of the Presidential Staff Office. Dr. Brian explained various stunting problems that are still a big challenge for Indonesia and the strategic role of the government in efforts to reduce stunting rates.

Dean of FIKes UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Dewi Rokhanawati, S.SiT., M.PH, in her speech conveyed the importance of this activity as part of efforts to reduce stunting in Indonesia.

“Hopefully, by achieving the stunting reduction target, we can realize a quality family with the slogan of Golden Indonesia,” said Dr. Dewi.

She also highlighted the triple burden in nutrition problems currently faced. “We still find many problems in nutrition, there is a triple burden that we are currently facing. Hopefully, with this studium generale, the students who attend will get a lot of knowledge,” said Dr. Dewi.

The event was attended by 1245 students from UNISA Yogyakarta and other universities in Yogyakarta, showing high enthusiasm and awareness of the importance of evaluating nutrition programs in an effort to reduce stunting.

Through this Studium Generale, FIKes UNISA Yogyakarta hopes to provide students with in-depth insights into the challenges and solutions in evaluating community nutrition programs, as well as motivate them to actively contribute in creating a healthy and quality generation of Indonesians.

Universitas `Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta held a farewell ceremony for the Vice Rector I, Taufiqur Rahman, S.IP., M.A., Ph.D, who served for the period 2017 – 2024. The event, which took place in Baroroh Baried Hall on Tuesday, was attended by the UNISA Yogyakarta Daily Board of Trustees (BPH), all UNISA Yogyakarta leaders and their staff, Tuesday (11/06).

In her speech, the Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Warsiti, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat, emphasized that this event was not a farewell ceremony, but a gathering event with Taufiq who will return to Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY).

“It doesn’t feel like time has passed so quickly, from the beginning of the issuance of the University Decree in 2016 until Mr. Taufiq joined to dedicate himself for 8 years at UNISA Yogyakarta so that we could realize our dreams and our vision of becoming Unisa Unggul,” said Warsiti.

Warsiti also added, “I thank you very much, we don’t need to be sad because Mr. Taufiq will always be at UNISA, and can be our example because he doesn’t talk much but his work is real.”

Taufiqur Rahman, on the same occasion, expressed his surprise and gratitude for the ceremonial event held for him. “I am very grateful to be able to accompany and be well received for 8 years at UNISA like a brother, a special happiness for me and my family, and I apologize if there are things that are not pleasing during the interaction,” said Taufiq.

This ceremonial event reflects the close family relationship and professionalism within UNISA Yogyakarta. Taufiqur Rahman’s dedication and contribution during his tenure not only left a deep mark, but also became an inspiration for the entire UNISA academic community to continue to excel and develop the university to be superior.

Universitas `Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta received an educational visit from Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The visit was attended by 55 students of the international class 2 IPA and 10 assistants from madrasah Mu’allimin.

The opening ceremony was held at Siti Moendjijah building on the 4th floor of UNISA Yogyakarta. The students were then invited to visit several laboratories at UNISA, including the Anatomy laboratory, Pharmacology Physiology laboratory, and Virology laboratory.

Enthusiasm was evident from the students as they participated in practicum activities and listened to explanations from the laboratory assistants regarding the use of tools and their functions in the laboratory. This activity was directly accompanied by 9 laboratory assistants from UNISA Yogyakarta and assisted by 4 students.

Heryan Ardi Kusuma, M.Pd, Head of International Class Affairs of Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, said that this visit and comparative study is expected to provide new insights and knowledge for Madrasah Mu’allimin students about the world of lectures in universities, especially in the fields of science and technology.

“We hope this activity can increase students’ interest in continuing their studies to a higher level,” he added.

This educational visit is part of UNISA Yogyakarta’s efforts to introduce its academic environment and excellent facilities to prospective students. In addition, this activity also strengthens the cooperation between UNISA and Madrasah Mu’allimin in the field of education.

With activities like this, it is hoped that more students will be interested and motivated to continue their education at UNISA Yogyakarta.
