Nilai islam

Muhammadiyah education is a modern Islamic value education that integrates religion with life and between faith and holistic progress. From the womb of Muhammadiyah education, it is hoped that a generation of educated Muslims will be born who are strong in faith and personality, as well as able to face and answer the challenges of the times. This is progressive Islamic education. (Diktilitbang, 2013: 9) This progressive education is the spirit for Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) Subjects that must be given to students at Muhammadiyah-Aisyiyah Universities (PTMA) both at home and abroad.

AIK must be part of the Muhammadiyah college’s efforts to achieve the vision and mission of the Muhamamdiyah college. PTMA carries out the mandate to realize one of Muhammadiyah’s missions, namely organizing AIK education as part of preaching amar makruf nahi munkar. A team of lecturers from Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta made a proud achievement by obtaining funding for the Strategic Research Collaboration Program (KATALIS) from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek) for the 2024 budget year, Wednesday (31/07).

The team consisting of Dr. Dhesi Ari Astuti, S.SiT., M.Kes, Dr. Warsiti, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat and Erwin Rasyid, S.I.Kom., M.Sc managed to outperform other proposals with the title “Development of Health Promotion and Monitoring of Pregnant Women’s Health”.

This research is a collaboration between UNISA Yogyakarta, Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), and Mulawarman University. The main focus of this research is the development of applications for health workers, especially midwives, in early detection of health risks in pregnant women. With this application, it is expected to improve the quality of maternal and child health services.

“This application is designed to assist midwives in analyzing health data of pregnant women more quickly and accurately,” said Dr. Dhesi Ari Astuti as the head of the catalyst research team. “In addition, this application will also provide follow-up recommendations in accordance with the condition of pregnant women.”

“This innovation is in line with the government’s efforts to improve the quality of maternal health services and reduce maternal mortality,” added Dr. Dhesi.

In the future, the research team plans to develop this application further by integrating it with wearable devices. Thus, midwives can monitor the health of pregnant women in real-time, even when the pregnant women are not in health facilities.
