UNISA Yogyakarta Student Promotes Healthy Lifestyle in Japan
In an effort to raise global awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, students of the Midwifery master program at Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta successfully held an international Community Service (PKM) at Kyoto Koka Women’s University, Japan. This activity focused on the theme “Healthy Life Style” and directly involved students and lecturers from both universities, Thursday (19/09).

UNISA Yogyakarta is a private university with a good reputation in the field of health. With the vision of becoming a superior Islamic university in the field of health, UNISA continues to be committed to producing quality graduates who are able to contribute to improving the quality of life of the community.
Dr. Dewi Rokhanawati, S.SiT., M.PH, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at UNISA Yogyakarta, expressed her pride for the active participation of female students in this program.
“This is our real step in realizing our commitment to advancing public health globally. Through international collaborations like this, we hope to inspire more people to adopt a healthy lifestyle,” she said.
During the event, students from both universities shared their knowledge on the importance of a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and effective stress management techniques. An interactive Q&A session was also held to enrich the participants’ understanding.
International Collaboration for a Healthier Future
The partnership between UNISA Yogyakarta and Kyoto Koka Women’s University was further strengthened through the implementation of this international PKM. Both higher education institutions agree that cross-cultural exchange of knowledge and experience is essential in facing global health challenges.
