Unggul

Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta held a gathering event between the Daily Board of Trustees (BPH) and the leadership of UNISA Yogyakarta, Monday (30/9) which was attended by the BPH leadership and all university structural leaders. This event is an important moment to strengthen synergy in an effort to advance and develop UNISA in a better direction.

UNGGUL

In his speech, the Secretary of BPH, Adam Jerussalem, S.T., S.H., M.T., Ph.D said that in 2024 UNISA Yogyakarta received an extraordinary gift by successfully achieving Superior University Accreditation (APT). This achievement opens opportunities for UNISA to open the Faculty of Medicine (FK) and inaugurate the Medical Laboratory Management and Technology (TLM) study program which also received superior accreditation.

“This success must be responded to by increasing work ethic, strengthening institutions, and togetherness in achieving the vision ahead. Snowball management is key in facing this growth,” said Adam Jerussalem. He emphasized that UNISA must continue to show the best performance, so that it can become a barometer not only in Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah Universities (PTMA), but also in other universities in Indonesia.

In addition, Warsiti also said that UNISA continues to encourage internationalization by increasing the percentage of overseas students, as well as strengthening practitioner lecturers and doctoral lecturer qualifications which are currently still less than 40% of the total number of lecturers. Challenges in the field of research, lecturer publications in international journals, and empowerment of graduates at the global level are also a major concern.

UNISA continues to add excellent study programs, including plans to open professional programs in Nutrition, Architecture, as well as Master of Physiotherapy, Master of Nursing, and Doctor of Midwifery programs.

Meanwhile, Chairperson of BPH UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Noordjannah Djohantini, M.M., M.Si in her direction emphasized that the superior title achieved by UNISA must be maintained with hard work and higher enthusiasm. “We must take care of this excellent title together. UNISA must become a symbol of the international Muslim women’s movement through Aisyiyah,” she said. Noordjannah also reminded the importance of strengthening the institutional system and internal evaluation so that UNISA can continue to grow and develop according to the needs of the times.

With the spirit of togetherness and dedication, all leaders and academicians of UNISA Yogyakarta are expected to realize the big vision of becoming a center of excellence and driving force in creating positive changes at the national and international levels.
