The Information Technology Study Program (PSTI) of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of Universitas `Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta successfully held the 2025 National Seminar entitled “To Infinity and Beyond” on Sunday, July 27, 2025. The event, which was held to commemorate the 8th Anniversary of PSTI UNISA, took place in Baroroh Barried Hall, Siti Walidah Building, and was attended by hundreds of participants from various backgrounds, including students and the general public who are interested in the world of technology providers and development.
This seminar is a place to share knowledge and motivation for the younger generation in the midst of rapid digital transformation. Two main speakers were present to provide in-depth insights: Vina Muliana, SP, M.I.Kom., a well-known HR practitioner and content writer, and Arizona Firdonsyah, S.Kom., M.Kom., lecturer and Head of the Technology and Information Systems Development Agency (BPTSI) UNISA Yogyakarta.
Vina Muliana presented the material entitled “From Learning to Earning: Transforming Yourself Towards Your Dream Career”. She shared practical tips on creating an effective CV such as tailoring it to the job applied for and highlighting measurable achievements as well as strategic positioning for job interviews with in-depth research and honest answers.
On the other hand, Arizona presented the material “The Tech Playbook: Professions, Skills, and Dynamics of the IT World”. He explained that technological advances open up a variety of new career opportunities, such as data analysts, UI/UX designers, and cybersecurity specialists. Arizona emphasized the importance of mastering the latest technology, adaptive skills, and the ability to think critically and collaboratively. He also invited participants to not only be users. “But also create technology-based solutions that have a positive impact on society,” said Arizona.
This National Seminar emphasized the commitment of PSTI UNISA Yogyakarta in producing graduates who are superior, competitive, and ready to face the challenges of the digital era. At the age of 8, PSTI UNISA hopes to continue to be a center of information technology education that is innovative, collaborative, and has a positive impact on the wider community.
