Rector of Unisa Yogyakarta, DR. Warsiti Is The Best Female Leader 2024 Version of Jawa Pos Radar Jogja
Rector of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (Unisa) Yogyakarta, Dr. Warsiti, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat received the Top of the Year 2024 award in the category of Best Female Leader by Jawa Pos Radar Jogja. This award was given for Warsiti’s dedication to improve the quality of education, especially in higher education.
Senior Editor of Radar Jogja, Iwa Ikhwanudin said the Top of The Year 2024 award for Best Female Leader Category by Jawa Pos Radar Jogja given to Warsiti cannot be separated from her dedication to education. Warsiti is considered to have brought Unisa Yogyakarta to continue to improve its quality.
“Unisa Yogyakarta has become an excellent university. I think it has also led to an international level university. We pray together. And for Ms. Warsiti’s achievement, we Radar Jogja give an award to this extraordinary rector,” said Iwa, during the awarding ceremony at Unisa Yogyakarta Campus, Saturday (11/1/2025).
Meanwhile, Warsiti said the award was presented to all academicians of Unisa Yogyakarta who have worked together, worked hard and worked great. She also said that this award could not be separated because of the support from the Central Leadership of Aisyiyah.
“Our awards, achievements, and achievements together. Thank you for this award. Hopefully this award will increase our enthusiasm to continue to bring Unisa Yogyakarta to become a superior and progressive university,” said Warsiti.
It is known that during Warsiti’s leadership, Unisa Yogyakarta continued to move forward in strengthening national and international competitiveness, with a number of strategic achievements. Under Warsiti’s leadership, institutional achievements are increasingly prominent, especially in terms of accreditation and faculty development.
The year 2024 became an important milestone for Unisa Yogyakarta with the achievement of Superior Institutional Accreditation from the National Accreditation Board (BAN-PT). In addition, Unisa Yogyakarta also managed to obtain an operational license for the Faculty of Medicine (FK), an extraordinary achievement considering the strict requirements.
Unisa Yogyakarta also continues to develop itself by introducing internationalization programs that are increasingly in demand by students. A number of Unisa Yogyakarta students are involved in international programs, such as credit transfer, student exchange, and short courses abroad.
Such positive things are in line with Unisa Yogyakarta’s vision to become a superior university with health insights and progressive Islamic values. In addition, Unisa Yogyakarta is increasingly intensive in community empowerment. Various community service activities, both at the national and international levels, continue to be carried out.
Unisa Yogyakarta does not forget the development of human resources. This is realized through training, certification, and further study programs up to S3 level and increasing the competence of other lecturers.
