Aisyiyah University (UNISA) Yogyakarta held the first stage of selection of new students for the Faculty of Medicine (FK) through Computer Based Test (CBT) on Tuesday (20/8). A total of 118 participants enthusiastically participated in the exam which was divided into two buildings, namely the Siti Walidah building and the Siti Bariyah building.
The CBT exam included Academic Potential Test (TPA) and Natural Sciences (IPA). Those who pass the first stage of the test will proceed to the second stage of the psychological test and interview. The tight competition can be seen from the careful preparation made by the participants before entering the exam room, this happens because of the limited quota.
Vice Rector IV of UNISA Yogyakarta, M. Ali Imron, M.Fis, expressed his admiration for the enthusiasm of the participants. “We really appreciate the fighting spirit of the prospective students. The large number of participants shows the high interest of the community to join FK UNISA Yogyakarta,” he said.
Dr. Imron also explained that out of 118 participants, only 50 people will be accepted as new FK students. This shows the high selectivity in the admission process at FK UNISA Yogyakarta.
UNISA Yogyakarta as a campus with a focus on the health sector, continues to strive to produce quality graduates who are ready to answer the challenges in the world of health. With strict selection, it is expected that the accepted students will become the next generation who are able to make a positive contribution to society.

Good news for prospective doctors! Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta has officially opened the Faculty of Medicine with the Medicine study program. With the opening of this study program, UNISA Yogyakarta further strengthens its position as one of the leading private universities in Yogyakarta. The Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta, Dr. Warsiti, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat, stated that the opening of the Medicine study program is a form of UNISA Yogyakarta’s commitment to contribute to the world of health in Indonesia. “We hope that UNISA Yogyakarta Medicine graduates can become professional doctors, have high integrity, and are able to provide the best health services for the community,” said Warsiti. Limited Quota The quota for the first batch of UNISA Yogyakarta Medicine study program is limited to 50 students. Therefore, for prospective students who are interested, register immediately before the quota is met. Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Yogyakarta officially opened the Faculty of Medicine (FK) in the academic year 2024. This opening was marked by the submission of the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Education Number: 484/E/O/2024 concerning the opening of the Medical Study Program and Professional Medical Education Program at UNISA Yogyakarta.
The decree on the opening of the medical faculty was handed over directly by Plt. Bhimo Widyo Andoko, S.H., M.H. to the Rector of UNISA Yogyakarta Dr. Warsiti, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat and witnessed by the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris, M.Sc and Chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Prof. Dr. H. Haedar Nashir, M.Si, Chairman of `Aisyiyah Central Leadership Dr. apt. Salmah Orbayinah, M. Kes, Apt and also the Head of LLDIKTI Region V Prof. Setyabudi Indartono, M.M., Ph.D at the Institutional Strengthening of Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Universities event held at the Convention Hall Walidah Dahlan Mosque UNISA Yogyakarta, Tuesday (23/07).
In a press conference held after the event, Warsiti said that the Faculty of Medicine of UNISA Yogyakarta has excellence in the field of prevention of reproductive problems, especially pregnancy. This is in line with ‘Aisyiyah’s mission to improve and empower women’s health.
“We open the registration for the medical study program immediately in this period, and we provide 50 quotas for the first batch,” said Dr. Warsiti.
